Union High School - Front - 2019-10-16

ROOSEVELT— Extra safety precautions are being taken at Union High School after a student allegedly threatened to bring a gun to school, said Duchesne County School District. 

District officials were made aware of the threat early this morning.  The school has not implemented a lockdown but is remaining on high alert. The threat allegedly took place on Snapchat. The threat has not been verified but precautions are being taken and students are being interviewed in regards to the incident.

According to the school district, extra law-enforcement officials are on duty at the school.
