ROOSEVELT--Union High School drama students have been working for months to present Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “Cinderella” to the public this week. They have 3 remaining performances, Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

The cast is made up of 30-40 high school students, plus some younger students. The students have been working on the production since school started in August.

“It’s so fun working with all these cast members. We just work together and sometimes it can be chaotic backstage during the show but we all just help each other out” said Olivia Wells, who plays the lead role of Cinderella.

The evening performances on Friday and Saturday begin at 7:00 p.m. and the matinee performance on Saturday begins at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available at

Shaun Hicken, who plays the prince in the play said of the cast, “We’re a big family here at Union High School drama. It’s wonderful, we love each other to death, we put our hearts into what we do, we’re passionate.”
